Engineer-Manufacturing Engineering
The Design/manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the development, optimization, and validation of processes and systems to support the manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
·
Work within final assembly manufacturing
environment(s) and drive early-stage process development and manufacturing
optimization to ensure products meet design intent.
·
Work with and manage customers / suppliers,
conduct DFM reviews, and go onsite as needed.
·
Develop and implement manufacturing processes
and measurement methods to meet tight tolerance manufacturing requirements and
manufacturing scale up.
·
Sound Knowledge on various machining processes,
tooling’s. Able to design a process from Print to develop machined components.
·
Knowledge on various raw material grades and
special process.
·
Lead development of fixtures, equipment, and
automation
·
Process evaluations and lead process
optimization initiatives utilizing tools such as SPC, DOE, CONROL PLAN, PFMEA,
and MSA.
·
Able to calculate product cost as per the RFQ
received from customers
·
Conduct root cause, failure analysis and
corrective action.
·
Establish sampling and Quality plans
·
Development and qualification of test methods
for verifications and validations
· Should able to work independently
Qualifications:
·
DME /Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering
· 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing
engineering OR Design department
·
Hands-on experience with quality tools, APQP,
PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.
·
Strong communication, interpersonal, and
organizational skills.
·
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Auto Cad,
Pro-E /Solid works, Design Software, etc.
·
Understanding of drafting, GD&T and
Engineering drawings
·
Candidates from Machining (VMC/CNC) industry is
preferable
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures
Ability to use measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.)
Good analytical and reporting skills
Attention to detail and documentation knowledge
Job Title • CNC/ VMC Production Supervisor( Setter cum Programmer)
Key Responsibilities
• Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and GD&T symbols.
• Create CNC/VMC programs using G-code/M-code or CAM software
• Set up tools, fixtures, offsets, and work coordinates on machines.
• Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
• Perform trial runs and optimize machining cycles.
• Operate VMC/CNC machines for production jobs.
• Inspect machined parts using measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining or tooling issues.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production and quality departments.
Required Skills
• Knowledge of CNC/VMC/Turn mil centre machine operations
• G-code and M-code programming
• Tool setting and offset adjustment
• Understanding of machining processes
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of cutting tools and inserts
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software like: AutoCAD / Mastercam or SolidWorks.
•Knowledge of tolerances and quality control
Educational Qualification
• ITI in Turner/Machinist / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / CNC Programming certification (preferred)
Experience
• 5+ years experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers.
• ₹25,000 – ₹45,000/month based on the experience & Job experties.
